Scott started CrossFit in 2012 and became a Level 1 Coach in 2021.
Scott is also a Fire Fighter and works shifts so is able to fit his coaching and his own training in around his shifts. He worked in the fitness industry before joining the fire service, so has great knowledge and skills when it comes to fitness, strength/conditioning and nutrition. He has always had a real passion for health and fitness. Scott joined CrossFit as he enjoyed the variety of different movements and working different training systems. It took him away from your typical recreational gym and he felt he was really able to challenge himself. He loves the competitive nature of CrossFit, being able to keep up with the pacemaker and giving you that edge to make it to the end of the WOD.
Scott is great at setting fitness goals for himself and is constantly improving because of that. He loves the CrossFit Fife community – it has great support and morale. He decided to become a coach as he wanted to develop his knowledge further and help others to achieve their fitness goals. He has always enjoyed coaching and is delighted to be back doing it.
