Stevie has always trained and competed in various sports from a young age. He represented Scotland at swimming and trained in various martial arts, including Thai Boxing and Jujitsu, before turning his attention to MMA. Eventually he reached an age where getting punched and kicked to the face stopped being ‘fun’ so he sought a new challenge… and that was when Raymond recommended he train at Crossfit Fife, from then on Stevie has been hooked! Stevie has been training Crossfit since 2013. It provided constantly varied, high intensity functional movement, with every session being different and always new skills to learn. Over time, this led him into the coaching side and he has been coaching at Crossfit Fife since 2017. Stevie is passionate about creating a welcoming, inclusive and fun environment for each person who steps through the door. He is equally passionate about helping each person achieve their goals, whether that’s becoming fitter and healthier or becoming a competitive athlete. Stevie loves to see the difference exercising in a positive environment can make to people’s lives both physically and mentally. Stevie says he wishes the coaches at CFF got hold of him 20 years ago, as their knowledge and experience would have made him fulfill his athletic potential. Now as a coach, he wants to pass on his knowledge and experience to help others achieve their potential.
